I'm a Network Operations Center engineer at Datanet Telecom in Basra, Iraq, where I've worked since 2021 and progressed to L2 in 2023. Day-to-day I handle SNMP-based monitoring, incident triage and escalation, and configuration of Cisco and MikroTik equipment across the ISP backbone.

Outside work I run a Proxmox homelab where I virtualize everything from routing protocols to full monitoring stacks — the goal is to learn by doing and document what I build here on nerdcore.pro.
